“I don’t really like vegetables.” We hear this all the time. When most people think about eating healthy, they automatically think about salads. While salads are a great way to get your daily dose of greens, who can really eat a salad everyday?? Good news! There are many other ways to work vegetables into your diet, and you can easily incorporate them into most meals without making any major adjustments.

If you’re like most people, you probably don’t eat as many vegetables as you should. And that’s totally okay! We all have our vices. But if you’re looking for ways to include more veggies in your diet, there are many different ways to do it. Start by adding vegetables to your breakfast routine. You can try spinach in your eggs or diced tomatoes on your toast. Add a side salad to your lunchtime meal, or include a few slices of cucumber or bell pepper. On the weekends, you can cook up a big batch of vegetables and use them as toppings for tacos, bowls, or sandwiches throughout the week. Don’t be hesitant and get creative with vegetable combinations – think beyond just carrots and broccoli. Are you always pairing broccoli with cheese or green beans with bacon? While there’s nothing wrong with classic vegetable combinations, sometimes it’s fun to get creative and try something new. You can try adding some veggie burgers and fries on the side for a satisfying meal that will fill up those hunger pangs. Another idea is making vegetable pasta as an alternative to regular noodles – it’s tasty and healthier.

Vegetables are often thought of as something that is eaten, not drunk. However, you can also drink vegetable juice as a healthy snack or light meal option. Some vegetables can be used to make delicious and healthy drinks.  Carrot, beets, cucumbers, and celery all make great drinks. Beet juice is especially good for you because it helps lower your blood pressure. Cucumber water has a cooling effect on the body, perfecting it for a hot day. Celery juice is a natural detoxifier that also helps reduce bloating.

Incorporating vegetables into your diet is an integral part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Eating various vegetables each day provides you with essential vitamins and minerals that can help protect against disease and improve your overall health. They’re low in calories and high in fiber, which makes them an excellent choice for weight loss or management. Plus, they add flavor and variety to your meals, making eating healthy an enjoyable experience. So next time you’re planning a meal, make sure to include a few servings of veggies! You’ll be glad you did.
